shutter up!

it's finally happened!!!

i've been shuttered up!!!

my "can do anything guy" jonathan

sent me this pic friday night...

shutters all ready to go!

& we planned to

do the install the next day!!!

i was beyond excited!!!!

however,

the final install got delayed

because we had crazy rain

here on Saturday

{boo}.

but monday ...

the sun was shining, the birds were singing

& jonathan arrived to get those shutters

where they belong!!!

the install was surprisingly quick & painless!!!!
& i was seriously like a kid on Christmas morning!!!!

i love, love, love how they turned out!!!!

they make the exterior of our home

look so different.

stood in the front yard for awhile

& just stared adoringly at them ....

& i may, or may not, have

took a ride around the block

just to see how they look

when i'm driving up to the house ....

& i may, or may not, have

jumped up & down &

waved my hands in the air

to show my enthusiasm for my new shutters

when my sweet neighbor came home.

what? is that weird?
