Friday again!!! This week has flown by!
As always, here are a few of
my week's highlights ...
* OK ... this week we had a local "alligator rescue" ... bless! Apparently, someone saw an alligator on the side of the highway & called wildlife officials, but they couldn't help. So, the passer-bys took it upon themselves to "rescue & relocate" the alligator.
the actual alligator ... doesn't he look appreciative?
* And don't even get me started about the shark attack at our beach ... in knee-deep water! The earth is 75% water ... can't the sharks have all of the other water & leave the less than knee-deep water for all of the humans? Is that too much to ask, sharks? Is it?!? Just stay out in the deep where you've got plenty of room to stretch your fins and bite things that are expecting you to.
* The school year is winding down .... mighty shout of praise, y'all! Mighty shout! I came across this HILARIOUS comparison of the energetic beginning of the school year parents versus the absolutely exhausted & completely over it, end of the school year parent! CLICK HERE to see it! I'll be the first to admit I am totally on the end of the year, over it side of this equation!
* Next week is Priss's 9th birthday & she has posted an elaborate countdown in our sitting room. This is, literally, my view from my little pink couch ....
Apparently, she's taken a page from my playbook & made it her own. Several times a day during the week leading up to my birthday or mother's day I'll stand in the kitchen & announce very loudly how many shopping days my people have left before my big day. Priss has taken a more creative, yet subtle approach. Home training!
As always ... hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Be awesome, y'all!

Haha! Awesome post!
