life springing forth!

I just want to reassure you all that God is still in the healing business & that miracles are not a thing of the past!

I can say this with great authority, because the crepe myrtles I gave a mighty trimming to a couple of months ago are growing new limbs! Thank ya, Jesus. I have no specific training in horticulture, but I am pretty sure that this is NOT what a trimmed crepe myrtle branch is supposed to look like …

 

When I finished my trimming job, it looked like a F4 tornado had snapped the top of those poor bushes clean off.

Clearly, a little google research or some sort of You Tube video tutorial would have been a good idea.  I got carried away & didn't know when to stop … kind of like when you cut your own bangs. Total carnage!

BUT! New life is springing forth!

 

 

... and obviously crepe myrtles are a very hearty breed!
