favorite things friday: it doesn't take much ...

a few of my favorite things
since last Friday ...


 to begin with, i have to tell you ...

monday gave me a wonderful gift!
i put on the wrong pair of pants
{yes, the wrong pair of pants}.
they are a pair of pants that were a size too small
& i haven't worn in a couple of years ...
they zipped right up!
if that doesn't tell you this is going to be
a GREAT week
i don't know what will, amen?!
i felt like i had punched
monday right in the face.
take that, monday!
{i also feel the need to confess
that after that happened i went to bojangle's
& had a sausage biscuit for breakfast}


2 other fun things happened that
were favorites ...

i've never mentioned it before,
but my mister has an actual real name.
it is scott.
a few weeks ago, i came across
a t-shirt that says "GREAT SCOTT!"
{a "Back to the Future" quote}
well, i ordered it & mr. ups delivered it finally!
i think it's the cutest...

 i had been on the search for
a real blue pumpkin & had come up empty-handed.
i even resorted to painting a few paper pumpkins
to fulfill my visions & dreams of said blue pumpkins.
well, one of my sweet sisters-in-law travels for
her job & came across REAL blue pumpkins.
& bless her heart, she brought one back for me!!!!
i was so tickled!!!!

{i realize it looks cream in the picture,
but i believe it is because God is shining
down on this glorious thing}


& i can already tell you something
that will be a favorite thing this weekend ....
a whole 60 minutes of extra sleep!!!!!
the dark mornings & early evenings
are a small price to pay for
those extra 60 minutes, people!
i take my sleep very seriously!

the Christmas every single gift i received
was sleep-related! every. single. gift.
sleep is my love language ...
& also my spiritual gift, I believe!
