i love it when i see y'all around town,

or at church, or at the target!

it makes my day when you mention

a post or tell me that you are

enjoying the absolute nonsense i write about.

you guys are so sweet to me!

 

there are a few things that i get asked ... a lot!

i thought i'd share the questions i get asked

the most & the answers ...

 

 

* do you really love target & pinterest that much? *

ummm ... yes & YES!!!!

at the expense of sounding dramatic,

 pinterest has changed my life!

i've told you before i'm pretty sure i haven't

had an original thought since the late 90's.

pinterest has saved me countless times

like when i've needed a cute teacher gift,

ideas for decorating for a party,

recipes, or that

unfortunate time i needed to

know how to get rid of lice.

& target? .... it is my happy place!

so, YES! i do love them both
deeply & endlessly...

 

* do you really have a pink couch? *

i sure do!

& her name is "pinkie" thank you very much!

not only do i have pink couch,

but so does mama!

 the most popular question from the men-folk:
* do i have to turn in my man card
if i tell you i enjoy reading your blog? *
& i probably don't even have to tell you
that whenever a man asks me that question,
he usually leans in really close & whispers it.
my answer ... "of course not! you can pretend you are
reading a blog called {from my big old obnoxious barcalounger!}
i appreciate all of you brave manly men who
openly admit to enjoying this little blog.
if real men wear pink, then I think
real men can read {from my little pink couch}!

* aren't you afraid you'll run out of things to write about? *
at first, i was ...
then mama asks me to clean out her pantry & THIS happens.
or, THIS happens.
or, i agree to go camping
in the actual woods & THIS occurs.
or, i see chickens walking down the sidewalk
on main street.
there is always something to write about.
having said that, i hope i don't encounter
a big 'ol case of writer's block.
however, when you live in a small, southern town
chances are there will be something to share!
