les miserable is my favorite broadway show ...
like BEYOND my favorite!
mama & i use to go to
new york city every december
& i would make her go see
les miserable every trip.
as you can imagine,
when i heard the movie was coming
out last year i literally counted down
the days.
if you are the intellectual type,
like myself {ahem},
you've probably seen the 25th anniversary
les miz performance on PBS.
well, daddy gave me that performance on dvd
for my birthday last
for my birthday last
year & i have proudly passed
my love for les miz down to priss.
so, of course, when the movie came
out on dvd priss wanted to watch.
& really, apart from the thievery, prostitution, bloodshed,
& debauchery at the innkeeper's house,
it is a very age-appropriate
piece of theatrical excellence
for an 8-year-old.
well, did you know if you fast forward
through the 8-year-old inappropriate material
in the movie you can get through the entire story
in about 48 minutes.
well, i have a friend who shares
my adoration for les miserables & over the weekend
she sent me this ....
the entire storyline of les miz in emoticons!
can you stand it!?!?!
BRILLIANT!
it's by far my favorite thing this week!
now...
excuse me, i have to go
help eponine sing a
heart-wrenching ballad as she
walks in the rain...
