glitter? ummm, no thanks!

i love crafting ...

like l-o-v-e to make things.

however, there is one craft supply that

makes my skin absolutely crawl...

GLITTER!

i can not stand glitter.
it is 1 of my biggest pet peeves.

i know ... it's like me saying i can't stand  

santa or cute puppies,

but it's true.

& what's worse ....

i teach preschool.

having a tolerance for glitter is like a prerequisite

for teaching preschool.

i feel that had the university that

i graduated from with a

bachelor's in early childhood education &

a master's degree in child development had known

about my irrational hatred for glitter

they just might have withheld my degrees.

i see things like this .....

on pinterest all of the time.

you know how I feel about glitter?
{warning: this may offend some of you}

this sums it up...

 

& if you think about it .... it's kind of true.

harsh, but true.
you can't get rid of the stuff .... it's impossible!

you come in contact with
1 fleck of glitter & you better be prepared
to carry it around somewhere on your person
for at least the next 72 hours.

so, i hope you all won't think
any less of me now that i have revealed
this deep, dark secret about myself.
it is a character flaw, I know ....
but one i have learned to live with.
your understanding & acceptance is appreciated!
