favorite things friday: the essentials ....

not a few of my favorite things!

however,

i thought i'd share a few

things that i never leave home without!!!

 

 

my essentials:

 

*diet pepsi*

it is the life blood that keeps this train a-trucking.

 yes, i know there is a vicious rumor

going around facebook that aspartame

can give you MS-like symptoms & memory loss.

however, i did some research (ok, i checked snopes.com) &

found out it was false so, ....

wait a minute, i just forgot what i was about

to say .... what were we talking about?!?!

 

*nivea chapstick*

THE BEST chapstick ev-ah!!!

 

*my {from my little pink couch} cards*

so i can be totally obnoxious & say things like,

"let me give you my card!"

 

*my phone*

ok ... what did we do in 1991

without our cell phones?!?!

i never leave a ROOM without it, much less

leave home without it ....

tragic!

 

*my little notebook*

because obviously the aspartame

has eaten my brain cells & if i

don't write down the 3 thoughts I have a day

the world just wouldn't be the same ....

 

*my target red card*

{no explanation necessary}

*hair tie*

because as i have often stated ....

hair talent is not something i possess.

however, one must realize

it is time to master the messy bun

when your hair stylist tells you,

"honey, you have other redeeming traits ... don't worry

about your lack of ability in the hair department."

hello, my name is emma & i am addicted to sharpies....

i love a sharpie! can't explain it!

just makes me happy to write with one.

 

*THE gray cardi*

people, this gray cardigan has

traveled many miles with this ole girl!

after reading my school uniform post a couple of weeks ago,

the bestie called & informed me that I did have a uniform ...

the gray cardigan!

let me explain ...

i am cold.

like everywhere i go .... cold!

apparently, i have the core temperature of a 87-year-old.

so, the gray cardi keeps me warm.
