on clearance at the target
(boo mama's mother-in-law, martha, has changed me forever!
if you haven't read a little salty to cut the sweet ...
run , do not walk, to the bookstore & buy it!!!).
my mr. & i are notorious
for getting lost ... like it's ridiculous.
i feel i am mostly to blame
because i am such a horrible navigator
& am severely directionally challenged!
& am severely directionally challenged!
when I was 20 years old
i was supposed to meet my parents
in chapel hill.
well, in between raleigh & chapel hill
i got sucked into some
sort of apparent vortex of lostness...
long story short..
i ended up finding a cop who had pulled
some poor unsuspecting soul over
& i got out of my car sobbing like a child
{whilst the cop was writing a ticket}
& explained how lost i was & how i needed help.
needless to say, i ended up with a police escort to chapel hill...
true story!
i always 2nd guess turns &
just know we must be going the wrong direction.
god bless my mr...
{we could never be on the amazing race..
which is just fine with me, by the way!}
the good thing about getting lost with my mr
is that we can laugh about it ...
we have countless stories that begin:
"remember that time we were going to such & such
& we ended up at so & so & then
had to call whatchamacallit to
figure out how to finally find
the thingamajig?!?!?
good times!"
& just so you know....
there's nobody else i'd rather get lost with...
