a little pinspiration: mailbox makeover ...

after installing our

new shutters

i began to notice all of the

things outside of our house

that were looking a bit "tired."

& the mailbox was numero uno

on the list that needed to

be revamped.
{i didn't even take a picture of the
old mailbox
because i would
hate for your opinion of me
to be marred by how bad it looked}

so, I went to lowe's & picked

out a new mailbox ...

this one was only $18!

I liked the details on the door ...
& the price!

then i searched around pinterest

for something fun

to do with the house numbers for the box

& came across this ....

i sent the pic to my friend, billie jo,

who has a vinyl decal company,

anchored heart creations.

so she whipped up a couple of

designs for me & after i decided on one

she came by to install it for me.

big improvement!!!
