the path ...

& a light on

we all travel many different paths

in our lifetime ...

some we regret, most we rejoice in.

sometimes it's hard to

walk down an uncertain path ...

but it's always so

comforting to know

that the word of God

is always there

to light our way ...

no matter what path we travel down.

we have a path behind our house ....

it leads to my parents' home

{through the woods to grandmother's house, we go ... literally!}

i know what's at the end of that path ....

it's the home i grew up in.

it's where i can find my mama & daddy.

it's where i'm always accepted.

it's where i can always find comfort.

it's where i can be 12 again.

i know what to expect when i get to the

end of that path.

if we allow God's word to light our path,

we know what's ultimately at the end of our path, too...

heaven!

we'll find our Daddy there.

we'll be accepted there.

we'll find comfort there.

& i believe we can even be 12 again there.
