above all else ....

my mr.'s life verse is

proverbs 4:23 ....

"above all else,

guard your heart,

for everything you do

flows from it."

he lives this verse...

on his 40th birthday

this past January,

he got this tattooed on his wrist..

{he does this for a living .... 

 

so a tattoo was bound to happen at some point, right?!}

i don't know about you,

but when i read a verse form the

Bible & it tells me,

"above all else ...."

i pay attention.

above everything else?

like, even more than love your neighbor?

honor your mother & father?

being kind to others?

yep .... above all else.

if we guard our hearts

& allow God to

fill us each & everyday

with His word

we'll love our neighbors,

we'll honor our mothers & fathers,

we'll be kind to others....

without giving it a second thought!

so ... i challenge you...

guard your heart!

above everything else!

be careful who & what you

allow to influence you.
