thought i'd share a super-easy wreath ...
a cute little pom pom wreath!
you'll need:
a grapevine wreath
(mine is 8" ... i wouldn't suggest any smaller)
yarn
pom pom makers
(i got mine at Michael's.
i suggest if you go looking for these in the store, do not ask a teenage
boy who looks like he's working there just
to save money to buy a surfboard ...
he will have no clue what you are talking about.)
the directions on the packaging were a bit
difficult to understand, but alas, pom poms were made!
here's whatcha do....
unhinge 1 side & wrap the yarn around like so ...
after wrapping one side ... do the other ...
after both sides are completely wrapped,
close the hinges.
now, you're ready to cut ...
cut all the way around.
cut a piece of yarn about 12" long,
wrap around the center,
& tie in a double knot ...
then.... drumroll, please ...
take your pom pom maker apart in the center &
look-a-there ... a pom pom!!!!!
i used 3 different pom poms for my wreath.
so, after i did that 3 times,
i tied them all together &
... attached them to the wreath.
so, there you have it!
a super simple wreath!
what i love most is the pom poms
can easily be changed for any time of year!
super cute ... super easy!
*note: i used GREAT restraint to not quote
the Jonas Brothers' new
song "Pom Poms" in this post.
you're welcome.
