a little pinspiration: scrap wreath ...

wednesday again ....

time to take a peak at

one of my "pins"

from pinterest!!!!

one of the first

crafts i did from pinterest

was inspired from these pins ...

{no link available ... formerly available from etsy}

i figured if i could use scissors

& tie a double knot

i was golden ...

turns out i was right!!!

yay!

I used a wire wreath form...

 



{this one is 12", but any size would do}



pinking shears & scrap fabric ...

{got this 6" x 6" bundle of 4 different coordinating

fabrics from Michael's ...

look at sweet little ty pennington

smiling at us}

i cut the scrap fabric into

roughly 3/4" x 6" strips ....

{really, just eyeball it ...

no need to get the ruler out}.

& then i got busy double knotting those suckers

on there .... seemed like it took forever,

but when i was done i thought

it was super cute!

i added a little felt heart Christmas ornament

i snagged at the after Christmas

sale at target ... {got a pack of 5 for .10}.

i just tied it on

with some ric rac i had in my craft closet.

i also tied on a few strips

of white ribbon to break up the fabric a bit.

& there's where she lives ...

right there by our staircase!

easy peasy lemon squeezy!
